Geez and here I was on such a roll w/the updates... Then we got sick!! *L* First Deven and a double ear infection, then Dilen w/a cold, then I felt a bit underweather, then Deven really sick again and ME and Dilen and finally E all fell under the knife.... We all ended up w/broncitus... and a nasty version of it too - add to that Deven still had his double ear infection... I missed a week of work, the boys missed a week of school and I was on bedrest for a couple of days due to contractions from coughing... But all is fine - we are on the mend... Deven and I still cough a bit but I think it's mostly post nasal drip so I have been giving us Tylenol Sinus which helps... Last week I personally financed a small 3rd world country w/the copays for docs and meds as well as OTC stuff.... It was a long long week and let me tell you - if you ever said "I just want to crawl into bed and not get out" well when someone tells you that you HAVE to stay it bed it changes the whole the deal... I don't know how women on strict bedrest do it cause I was going NUTS!!! Then once I could get up and move around again I just wanted to go back to bed... You just can't win sometimes... Personally if the doc had listened to me on the 9th when I complained that my chest was getting heavy and my ears were bothering me and actually LOOKED at me maybe we could have avoided ME being so sick... Oh well atleast I feel better now... And on a very positive note I haven't had a cigarette since midday on the 14th and I really don't have a strong desire to have one - then again my lungs are still a little heavy and I am not looking to make things worse - I miss smoking sometimes but then again I really don't.... So day 9 and counting.... Well it's off to pick up Dilen from school and pick up dinner and then early to bed for us since we all still tire easily... Til next time...
